Functioning

The wet swarfs are fed into the centrifuge by the hopper and fall into the rotating drum. The centrifugal force presses the swarfs against the drum wall and move upwards on the bar screen: at this stage the coolant fluid separates from the swarfs. The dry swarfs are ejected behind the upper edge of the drum and go down through the discharge hopper. The liquid collected flows through an inner channel of the centrifuge and is gathered in a tank from which can be fed back for the production or pumped back for further treatments.
