Functioning
Due to the powerful action of the exhauster, liquid and solid swarfs or sludges, are sucked in by vacuum effect. Passing through the solid container, they are held back by a perforated basket, as the liquid going on is collected into the main tank. When it is full a vacuum switch interrupts the arrival of the liquid and the main tank is then rapidly emptied by a pump or by gravity through the bottom tap. The discharge pump can be started even during the suction stage so as to allow the basements or tanks cleaning in dialysis.
